Jurassic World: Dominion (2022) is finally here, but theaters aren’t the only place you can find your fix of everything Jurassic. Although the park is long gone in the film series, there are still theme parks inhabited by dinosaurs here in the real world, at Universal Studios Orlando and Hollywood.

Jurassic World: Dominion is the sixth film of the hugely popular jurassic park franchise, who discovers that dinosaur populations are causing huge problems in North America, following the events of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018), in which the prehistoric beasts are released into the desert during the third act.

The film unites jurassic world (2015) characters Claire Dearing (Bryce Dallas Howard) and Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) with original jurassic park (1993) characters Dr. Alan Grant (Sam Neill), Dr. Ellie Sattler (Laura Dern), and Dr. Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum), as they face new, unprecedented prehistoric threats to the continent.

the original jurassic park was a hugely influential film, in that it not only spawned five sequels, but also inspired themed attractions at Universal Studios, which remain incredibly popular to this day. Sure, you won’t find real genetically modified dinosaurs at resorts, but you will come across the next best thing.

jurassic world Velocicoaster is the new Jurassic Park attraction at Universal Studios Orlando. However, unlike the other attractions, it is actually inspired by the jurassic world movies and not jurassic park (although they are all part of the same continuity).

This adrenaline-filled roller coaster soars above the ground and is described as “the ultimate roller coaster predator.” And it’s easy to see why, as it launches at incredible speed through the Jurassic Park raptor enclosure, letting you feel the same rush these prehistoric predators feel when on the hunt!

You’ll spin and soar above the land, and even spot velociraptors as you go. jurassic world Velocicoaster is the ultimate Jurassic thrills, and the perfect way to experience the more action-packed side of Jurassic franchise at Universal Studios Orlando.

Pteranadon Flyers might sound like a thrilling experience, but it’s actually designed for those “little versions of adults,” as Dr. Ellie Sattler so eloquently put it in the original 1993 classic The Ride, which sees children take their flight under the 10-foot wings of a pteranadon, offers a breathtaking view of the surroundings.

The seat hangs from an overhead rail and allows toddlers to swing their legs freely while flying slowly and gently through the air. So luckily there are no scary moments on this ride, because that’s what’s great with jurassic park – he knows how to find a balance between wonder and terror!

jurassic park River adventure

Many jurassic park fans don’t know, but jurassic park River Adventure is based on a scene from Michael Crichton’s 1990 best-selling “Jurassic Park,” the novel on which Steven Spielberg’s 1993 classic is based. The scene in question was never featured in the film, but survives now in the form of this thrilling log walk.

In the book, Dr. Alan Grant, Lex Murphy, and Tim Murphy attempt to reach the visitor center using an inflatable boat, during which they are stalked by the tyrannosaurus rex. In the Universal Studios Orlando version, however, you’ll see all manner of dinosaurs, including brachiosaurs, stegosaurus, compys, parasaurs, and velociraptors.

After starting in your raft with other guests, you’ll pass through the watery haven of Hadrosaur Cove, but it won’t belong until things take a turn for the worse. Soon you’ll encounter compys and raptors, before your raft enters a dark facility, where you’ll face the wrath of the mighty t-rex, before plunging down an 85-foot drop!
