The night house follows Hall as the title character Beth, who is left all alone in her home after her husband suffers a sudden and unexpected death. You can probably already feel the elements of this building into a chilling horror thriller. Well, soon enough, Beth begins to hear the voices of the spirits inhabiting her home that only come out when the sun goes down. Hall perfectly portrays the fear and separation necessary for the character and this is definitely one of his best performances.

The city is a 2010 crime thriller that stars Hall alongside Ben Affleck, Blake Lively, Jeremy Renner and John Hamm. This film follows Doug MacRay (Affleck) and James (Renner) after James takes bank clerk Claire (Hall) hostage. This film full of action, romance and suspense is the perfect showcase of Hall’s talent alongside big names in the industry.
