talk about the infinity saga, The Phase 3 conclusion centers on the Mad Titan Thanos, played by Hollywood vet Josh Brolin. After being teased in 2012 The Avengers post-credit scene, Brolin reprized the role in 2014 Guardian of the Galaxy but officially introduced himself as the big bad of phase 3 in Avengers: Infinity War.

the infinity saga The story follows Thanos’ villainous adventure in collecting all the Infinity Stones, which the Mad Titan successfully accomplished and wiped out half of the entire universe.

Now that MCU is focusing on the multiverse storyline, delving into different timelines and encountering different variants, will we ever see the ruthless Mad Titan again?

Thanos actor Josh Brolin was a guest on Sirius XM’s Jess Cagle Show, where he discussed Thanos’ potential future in the MCU. When asked, Brolin replied: “They have their own trajectory that worries them and if they want me to do it I would, I’m sure, but I don’t know what they think. .”

“I don’t know what their plan is. We kind of ended this thing after 10 years. I was so happy and loved being involved in it so much because that wasn’t the intention when I got involved for the first time.” added the actor.

Brolin went on to explain that he never thought the villain would be a central character in the MCU, Brolin explained, “The whole Thanos character, it was more of a cameo and they loved the character so much. They didn’t never felt like they had a villain that was substantial enough for what they were creating and then I think they felt like they found him and then there were two movies that revolved around It was a lot of fun and it worked really well for them.”

Even if we want to see Josh Brolin as the Mad Titan Thanos, that might not be a good idea for Marvel.

infinity saga ended with Tony Stark sacrificing himself to undo the snap and getting Thanos gone for good. If Marvel brings Thanos back in the future, Tony Stark’s sacrifice would be a total waste and fans would likely protest.

Luckily for Josh Brolin, he can still return as a renowned villain for fan-favorite character Deadpool. Brolin played the role of Cable in the 2018s Deadpool 2, and the sequel’s ending didn’t directly indicate whether Brolin’s character was officially written out of the franchise. That being said, Marvel could still play with Brolin’s cable to Dead Pool 3.

Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame are still streaming in Disney+.
