Kingsman and Rocketman Actor Taron Egerton has responded to rumors that he could reprise the role of Wolverine from Hugh Jackman…again. But this time things are a bit more optimistic.
Egerton has now publicly established that he met with Marvel Studios to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe, during an interview with New York Times.
He revealed he’s met with Marvel Studio executives, including company president Kevin Feige, and regarding his ambitions to be the next Wolverine, he said, “I don’t think it would be. a mistake to say that. I would be excited but also apprehensive, because Hugh is so associated with the role that I would wonder if it would be very difficult for someone else to do it.”
