Marvel Legend ‘Really, Really’ Misses Role, Fans Hope For Reboot

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is full of colorful characters and classic heroes that virtually every Marvel fan adores, but the original six of avengers (2012) will always be considered the best team. Now, one of the members has revealed that they “really, really” miss their role in the MCU.

The departure of Chris Evans from Marvel Studios marked a bittersweet moment in superhero history, with countless fans feeling that some of the spark found in the Marvel movies once went Iron Man ( Robert Downey, Jr.), Captain America (Chris Evans), and Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) have all stopped appearing in new projects.

Moving on, Anthony Mackie took Captain America’s shield in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, while Chris Evans strapped on his space gear for Pixar Light year (2022).

A household name and undisputed fan favorite, Chris Evans’ new role as real Buzz Lightyear in Pixar’s Animated Feature Light year reminds fans of the good old days when Evans appeared on screen as Steve Rogers.

Even Chris Evans can’t help but miss his old role:

“You know, it’s different. It’s different. For ten years, you always have a movie around the corner. For ten years… it’s always, you finish one and your life is programmed by, ‘Okay, six months, we have the press. Six more months, we start the next movie. To kind of have some open waters, there are parts that are enjoyable and there are parts that I really, really miss because it was a role that meant a lot to me. And I love these people and, you know, these will be the best ten years of my professional life without a doubt forever.

While Evans remains silent on his future with the Marvel collection, rumors suggest he, Scarlett Johansson, Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield and more could appear in the next Secret Wars movie – arguably the most influential movie in Marvel history if successful.

Nevertheless, fans hope that one day “Cap” will once again be Chris Evans’ title:

Let’s face it, Feige intends to bring the OGs back in some way in the waaaay future.

As much as Marvel thinks they shut Steve down, they left a door open with old Steve possibly still out there and now the multiverse is giving them another way to bring him back.

With the multiverse in Earth-616, there are endless opportunities for Chris Evans to reprise his role as Steve Rogers from a different universe. While this could be considered a “retcon” of the pre-established Captain America, the American man still has an important role to play in the future of Marvel Comics and more.

Until then, fans will have to watch Chris Evans alongside Ana De Armas and Ryan Gosling in The Russo Brothers. gray man (2022) action thriller on Netflix this summer July 15th.
