Police shoot in North Hollywood on Friday morning

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA – A police shootout took place Friday morning in North Hollywood.

The shooting took place around 8:30 a.m. on Laurel Canyon Boulevard and Vanowen Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Details of what led to the shooting, or if anyone was injured, were not immediately available and paramedics were not dispatched to the scene according to Los Angeles firefighters.
